Having grown up in a pretty regular family I had always believed in God but when I was about 20 I came to realisation that God believed in me! Very soon after I began using my slightly questionable personality and very loud voice to present the Gospel on the streets. In those early years, when I didn’t know any better, I used whatever I could find to draw a crowd in order to tell as many people as possible how Jesus had changed my life.
As the years went by I learnt how to get out of a straitjacket, saw someone in half and operate a full size guillotine! The crowds got bigger. The next stage was to believe God for a team and the resources to communicate in a better way, to many more people, to inspire and develop churches and travel the country. Miracle Street was the result. Over the last few years we have acquired some wonderful resources including the Mainstage
and the Mobilestage. We have also lived through an exciting journey with the mobile arena known as the
Bandwagon which now forms the centrepiece for Lark in the Park two huge area-wide festivals that Miracle Street help to create in Sidcup and Ramsgate in Kent. Also the Red Bus in Southampton, led by Kelvin and Holly McMahon, is now under the the care and oversight of New Community Church although it retains strong links with the work of Miracle Street.
Today I feel very humbled by the amount of people who have walked this journey by my side and the sacrificial giving of hundreds of people that have made it possible to purchase all the equipment that is used to reach people with the message of Jesus.
More important than any of those things are the people who have believed in the message of Jesus and have joined this great life of faith and transformation. This website will give you an insight into the work, the
resources, the Associates and the pages that are yet to be written. There is also the opportunity for you to support us as we seek to be faithful to the call of God on our lives to transform the streets of our nation into ‘miracle streets’
