Heading west for Cornwall!

This last month my travels have taken me to Berlin in Germany, Arnhem and Nijmegen in Holland and Normandy in France as well as several places in the UK. In Berlin I met with Florian Furst a passionate evangelist in his 20’s who carries a heart for Europe. I think we will work together in many places in the years to come. It was also a privilege to reconnect with Christian Peters who has an event management and technical background. They are both coming over to the UK to spend more time with the team at some of our events in the summer. If we are going to be successful in touring Europe with the Mainstage we will need guys like that alongside us.

We have just heard from Francis and Diane Dognon, our partners in Normandy that they have been successful in purchasing the coffee shop on the local estate that we work with them on. It’s a huge breakthrough for us all and gives us the base we need to reach the whole estate!

In Holland I visited a church in Nijmegen and met Paul Allen who, like me, is deeply rooted in wartime history and its significance for church growth and evangelism across Europe. Nijmegen and nearly Arnhem are key towns along the ‘Liberation route’ that are crucial places along the Normandy to Berlin journey that God has spoken to us about.

Next week we travel to St Austell in Cornwall to work again with Light and Life Church and our close friends John and Becky Townley. The church there is very new but thriving. They already have a coffee shop in the town and big dreams for the future. We will take the Mobilestage with us and a big team to really create an impact in the town amongst the families.
