Madrid to the New Forest via Leeds!

Losing my wonderful Mum over Christmas was a terrible blow for me and the family that came at the end of a hectic December of Christmas events in Madrid, Leeds and the New Forest. I received over 200 personal emails in a matter of 3 days from those who are in close relationship with us as a family and the ministry of Miracle Street as a whole. It’s impossible to fully express how much that meant to me to know so many are with us not just for the events for also me, my family and my team.

The weekend in Madrid was very special. I ended up travelling alone at short notice due to sickness and personal issues arising with the team due to come with me. Although I was very nervous the presentations on the streets and the public meetings in the church were some of the most powerful I have seen over there in Spain with many making a commitment to Christ.

The following weekend Dave and Becca Thornber and Alistaire travelled with me to Leeds to run an outdoor event outside the Baraka Coffee shop run but my friends Nick and Linda Castle. They do a fabulous job reaching out across Garforth, a suburb of Leeds. I think we saw 200 gather at the stage and the coffee ship was full all evening. The place was absolutely buzzing all day.

Following a big delay getting back due to cancelled flights I eventually made it home the day before we ran the last event of 2010 in the New Forest. This time Jimmy was with me and Alistaire and we saw 80 or so gather in the little village of Tiptoe. It was so good to be there alongside Wellspring church and they faithfully seek to touch the village with the love of God.

And so, a vast European capital city, a medium sized town close to a big UK city and a tiny rural village all in just over a week, a true expression of the diverse work of Miracle Street!
