We unveiled the newly refurbished Mainstage last week for the School Aid Live event in Ipswich. It was an emotional moment for me to see the trailer pulled onto the field with a 6 metre Miracle Street logo down the side. Yet again a reminder of how far we have come. The incredible inflatable stage canopy also was used for the first time.

When we embarked on this refit of both our stages I was genuinely excited but felt it was an urgent maintenance schedule we were fulfilling. Now with the climate we are living in spiritually and the incredible opportunities this summer and for Europe in 2009 it is very obvious that the Lord had other ideas!
Yesterday I was in Normandy for the day to meet with our close friends and partners in the Gospel, Francis and Diane Dognon. Earlier in the day we were in Caen to meet with a French pastor called Christian Vives to try and set up the Mainstage event to launch Turning Point ion the anniversary of the D-Day Landings on June 6th 2009. We realised how much work has to done to create trust among churches of different traditions but we remain totally focused on following the call of God to established a bridgehead in Normandy ahead of what I believe will be huge events in Paris and Berlin.
