We had an absolutely fabulous time in Bracknell over this last weekend. Positioning the Mobilestage without the canopy in the middle of the shopping precinct meant we were visible from all sides. Paul Woodman and I were able to communicate the Gospel in a very direct way to people of all ages with great response.

Our friends in the Bracknell churches were running Hope Bracknell throughout the week carrying out hundreds of acts of kindness in the community which gave us such a good platform to work from. Around 30 of the local Christians came out with us to give out free drinks and engage people in conversation and prayer. What an awesome time it was!

This week I drive to Cornwall to visit some of the leaders there to talk about this call I am sensing from the Lord to help kick start some of the old chapels that have declined in numbers and even shut down over the years, it will be an exciting trip, please pray for me.

In two weeks I leave for Madrid (volcanic ash permitting!) for a few days to preach at a series of events at ICC Church Madrid. It’s going to be brilliant to have three others with me all who speak Spanish. Please pray that I will have a sharp cutting edge as we seek to bring many people to Christ in that city.

On a challenging note, my 8 seater MPV finally gave up last week leaving us with another vehicle related financial challenge!! Thanks for all you interest, support and partnership in the Gospel.

So much coming up to pray about! We are moving forward with the plans to run a major prayer event in France called ‘Breakthrough Normandy’ A large group of us are going over to pray on all five of the Landing Beaches on the anniversary of D-Day on Sunday June 6th. Look out for the email in a couple of days if you would like to be with us. Permission is still lodged in France for a Mainstage Festival on the beaches the following weekend. We are desperate to get over there and declare the Gospel. Please pray!

Over the next couple of weeks we are taking the message of Jesus onto the streets in Southampton and Bracknell. The Bracknell event on April 12th will be a big presence in the town with the Mobilestage and many of the team there. Many people came back to me about my report a few weeks ago about Cornwall and the sense I have had that we are heading that way to uncap some wells in the Chapel communities. I’m travelling down soon to meet with Don Double and one or two other leaders to talk about how we can progress this, it will be awesome. I remember 10 years ago when we first took delivery of the Mobilestage we had several words about it being like a modern day John Wesley’s horse carry the evangelists into unreached places!

I’m preparing for my trip to Madrid in 3 or 4 weeks time and really looking forward to being over there again in Spain. Last November I saw a lot of people meet with Jesus for the first time, it was an incredible few days. This time I’m taking a small team with me all of whom speak Spanish which will add a big amount to what I am able to do publicly and in smaller meetings and one to one. Again, your prayers will be greatly appreciated for the developing links I have with Madrid. More soon!
