School Aid, Wirral
Plans continue to progress well for our summer 2008 programme of events and festivals. We are already looking at visiting 12 to 15 different towns with more still to come in. Emma is about to lead the team for the School Aid project on the Wirral near Liverpool visiting many schools with thousands of children going through the African classroom experience over a two-week period. These last couple of weeks the Lord has begun to speak to me about taking the Mainstage onto the European Mainland a year from now. I'm in regular contact with a number of friends and partners who are adding there own thoughts to what looks like a tour across Europe followed by several months in East Africa around Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda and Burundi with the contacts we have in that part of the world. It's obviously an extremely ambitious project but one that seems to be from the Lord. Please pray for us as well gather together different groups of people and begin to push this idea forward. As most of you will know we are in the middle of a crucial fundraising venture to raise £20,000 for essential works on the two stages ahead of the summer programme. We currently have around £5,000 of that money. If you feel drawn to give towards this appeal it would be fantastic. Thanks as always for the tremendous support from all our friends around the UK and beyond. Steve Lee
