15,000 in a week

Next week Miracle Street is in partnership with Urban Saints to deliver Re:Act under the Hope08 banner . Re:Act comprises of seven tours running simultaneously across the UK two of which we are involved in. Several hundred young people and dozens of churches are in partnership together for this very special project. The Mainstage will facilitate the tour of six towns along the M25 near London and the Mobilestage will tour the Isle of Wight. In the space of six days we are likely to see over 15,000 people in the two tours we are running. Please pray for me and Jono particularly as we hav the main responsibility of preaching the Gospel in twelve towns. Steve Lee

2500 people in New Milton

On Saturday we ran a Family Funday alongside New Life Church New Milton. It was the first time they had run an event of this kind and the first time anything like it had occurred in the town. We were staggered therefore to see around 2,500 on the park throughout the afternoon, one of the biggest we have done. My friend Adam Clewer did a magnificent job creating the event with a whole variety of activities into which we were able to present the Gospel in a fun and challenging way. The church set up an Alpha tent and a prayer tent and the guest service the following day was attending by some visitors. I was reminded again of the awesome potential of these environments to draw hoards of people to hear the Gospel and what the Mobilestage is capable of positioned in the right way. Steve Lee

Jesus returns to the stable

On Sunday we ran QuobFest an event in Quob Stables near Fair Oak with our friends from St Toms. Quob Stables is a huge equestrian centre and this event was a hybrid of their annual open day and a Hope08 Festival. Throughout the day we saw many hundreds of people in the huge barn where the Mainstage was situated. Several special guests were with us including Portsmouth footballer, Linvoy Primus and the bands TBC and Trent. Jono and Josh were superb throughout the day. I preached the Gospel in the evening alongside Trent and 11 people responded, awesome time!

On Saturday we were in 3 separate towns! I was speaking at a training day in Bracknell ahead of the big area-wide Mainstage festival in August, Simon Thomas was with Josh in Dorchester with the Mobilestage and the Mainstage was facilitating an external event in Crawley. Many more events are coming up in the next few weeks, please continue to pray for us. Steve Lee
