Next Monday we are launching a two-week School Aid project on the Isle of Wight. The Miracle Street team will be taking the Kenyan classroom experience to all 12 primary schools on the Island. It will mean that every child of primary school age will have the chance to be impacted by the message and the need for education to be made available to nearly 100 million children in the developing world. At the end of the fortnight the Miracle Street Mobilestage and event equipment will go over on the ferry to facilitate School Aid Live! a big family event where we hope to see several hundred people. The end will conclude with a giant helium balloon release and we’ll give a glowstick to every child to help them identify with the challenge to be bearers of light in a world of injustice. It has been so encouraging to see so many schools, businesses, media and the local council all getting behind this project. Red Funnel Ferries have underwritten the whole cost of our crossings which amounts to around £1,200 for what is famously the most expensive stretch of water in Europe! Please pray for this exciting part of Miracle Street's work. Steve Lee
