As I write this I am preparing for another visit to the Normandy beaches to catch my breath following an extremely hectic few weeks and to pray and reflect again with my friend Mike Carson on this strange call I have to fight a battle in France! I've just got back from the annual Lark in the Park Festival in Sidcup, which is now in its 11th year. This incredible event has been a huge part of the life of Miracle Street over the years. Now drawing from all over the region there were well over 1,000 people onsite throughout the two weeks in many venues and the volunteer base topped 300 people. Many, many stories are emerging all the time of people coming to Christ, being prayed for in kids venues, events for the elderly and just around the park. Matt Green is now one of the leaders of the church there, which makes the partnership with Miracle Street seem even more profound. The whole thing now moves onto Ramsgate and begins again. Jono has led the Parklife team on the Isle of Wight for a great weekend last week and the School Aid trailer has been at the International Centenary Jamboree of the Scout movement. It was set up in the Global Development Boulevard as over 50,000 young people from all over the world caught the message behind the School Aid programme. Kelvin and Holly are running a week of activities on Southampton’s Mansbridge estate this week with the Bus, which continues to be a work tremendously blessed by God. Fuller details on the whole range of activities we have been involved in this summer and details of our 10th Anniversary Fund will be with you soon. Please keep praying for us! Steve Lee
