Steve first met John Townley only a few years ago, John is on the National Leadership Team of the Free Methodist Church, and is the father figure and Senior Pastor of the Light and Light Network based in Cornwall.

Miracle Street first partnered with Light and Life, St Austell to deliver Community Fundays in 2010. It was soon clear that we had a shared vision for church planting and connecting church with local community.

We have worked with Light and Life, St Austell many times now, and have grown strong relationships with the church. We would consider John and his wife Becky to be good friends above the work that we do together.

We have delivered the InsideOut program across the Light and Life network, and are working closely in partnership with all these churches. There are many dreams that we share to plant new churches and see the wells of revival reopened that date back to the days when John Wesley swept through the County and thousands came to Christ.

We just love the way these guys have such a heart to show God’s love to people who maybe would never walk into a church and for the visual, creative and fun ways they communicate this in the open air. We have been so impressed by the servant-hearted attitude and commitment from Steve and the team to happily drive to Cornwall in the rain for a one-off event. The benefit to us has been immense; basically, we couldn’t do it without them and we wouldn’t want to try."
